Current legislation requires landlords to ensure the electrical installations within rented properties are inspected and tested at regular intervals by a qualified electrician.
We work closely with landlords, estate agents and property managers to provide efficient inspection services and clear certification for tenanted and HMO properties.
Landlords must:
- 1 Obtain a valid EICR for rented properties.
- 2 Ensure inspections are carried out at least every 5 years, or as recommended within the report.
- 3 Provide copies of the report to tenants and local authorities when required.
- 4 Complete any remedial works identified within the required timescales.
